The Directors of Strategy Complete have complimentary skills and experience that provides a seamless integration of strategic thinking, effective external communications and research and evaluation expertise. Associates provide additional specialist expertise and experience.

Vanessa Potter: has over 15 years experience at a senior level in the public and third sectors. This has included responsibility for communications and marketing, stakeholder management and involvement, research and evaluation and policy development. She was recently responsible for the strategic restructuring of the Office of the Third Sector and prior to this was Director of Policy and External Relations at the Big Lottery Fund. She also advises private sector organisations on working with the public and third sectors.
Her experience includes leading extensive change management programmes, organisational restructuring, performance management and strategic planning.

Dr Jonathan Scales: has a PhD in Applied Social and Economic Research and is a full member of the Market Research Society. He has held research management positions in the NHS, along with academic appointments at Essex and Cambridge Universities. He has fifteen years applied social research experience in areas including housing, education, health, work and employment, public opinion and consultation, and social trends and has provided research consultancy to a wide variety of private, public and not-for-profit organisations.
His expertise includes research design and management, survey methodology, and the analysis and application of large-scale government survey data for strategic decision-making and external communications. He is a frequent media commentator on social trends and their implications for organisations.
